Telangana Marks Praja Palana Dinotsavam Across the State as Government Highlights Governance Agenda

Telangana is observing September 17 as Praja Palana Dinotsavam, with the state government organising official programmes across all district headquarters.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to unfurl the national flag at the Public Gardens near Nampally in Hyderabad as part of the state's observance. Ministers and other dignitaries are also scheduled to lead programmes in different districts.
The state government has directed district administrations to make arrangements for the celebrations. Officials have also been instructed to avoid the use of plastic flags during the programmes.
The observance provides an opportunity for the Telangana government to highlight its governance and administrative priorities. Programmes at the district level are expected to involve government representatives and local administrations.
The event has also become part of Telangana's wider Politics (opens in a new tab) as the ruling government continues to communicate its governance agenda to people across the state.
